I'm Ella. I'm based in Milton Keynes and I photograph weddings across MK and Buckinghamshire. I have lived in Milton Keynes since birth! I know which corner of Campbell Park catches the afternoon sun, how Hotel La Tour runs on the day, and the bits of MK that most couples never think to use.
My approach is somewhere between documentary and editorial: mostly watching, occasionally guiding, always paying attention. The goal is always photographs that look like you on the best day of your life — not a version of you performing for a camera.

HOW I WORK
Most people feel awkward in front of a camera. That's not a problem — it's literally my starting point.
The first thing I'll usually ask you to do is walk. Not pose, not smile on cue — just walk together, like you do every day. It sounds almost too simple. But something shifts when your body's doing something familiar: the self-consciousness drops, the conversation starts, and that's when the images actually happen.
On the wedding day itself, I spend most of my time watching — ceremony reactions, the chaos of getting-ready, the moment someone's composure goes during a speech. I step in with guidance when it'll make things better and stay out of the way when it won't. Relaxed wedding photographer is a phrase that appears on a lot of websites. The difference is I can tell you exactly what I do to make that happen.
Think of it like having a friend at your wedding who happens to be very good at their job. Someone who has your back, knows when to step in, and knows when to disappear.
