ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Ella. Wedding and portrait photographer, based in Buckinghamshire, coffee in hand at all times.
I specialise in weddings, couples and engagements — and I put just as much thought into making the experience feel good as I do into the photographs themselves.
This page is really just me introducing myself. If you're trying to decide whether I'm someone you'd want around on your wedding day — hopefully by the end of it you'll have a pretty clear answer.
WHO I ACTUALLY AM
The camera stuff aside — here's what you actually need to know about me.
I'm a marine biology graduate, which surprises people more than it should, with Marine Biology I wanted to save the world, with photography I capture the things that make the world worth saving. It means I care genuinely about sustainability — not in a way that I'll bring up unprompted at your wedding, but in a way that shapes how I work and who I tend to recommend. If you want suggestions for suppliers who share those values, or just a few easy ways to make your day a little greener without it affecting anything, I'm very happy to help with that. Completely optional, obviously.
Outside of work I travel whenever I can (the ocean is a recurring theme — studying marine biology tends to do that to you), I'm a self-confessed truffle girl who appreciates the finer things, and I'm also completely happy getting muddy in a field if that's what the shot needs. Both things coexist peacefully.
I'm a big believer in supporting small businesses, which is probably why I ended up running one.

☕Coffee — double shot latte, always.
🌊The ocean — studied it, still miss it
✈️Travel — the further the better
🍄Food — enthusiastically, truffle girl and proud
🌱Sustainability — advocate, but never preachy
🤝Small businesses — always supported
Ella is such a lovely and down to earth person! She has a kind and patient spirit that made me and my husband warm to her straightaway.
My husband and I have so many fond memories to look back on thanks to her. Ella, thank you so much for being fantastic! I hope many more people recognise your incredible talent for capturing love and special moments.

WHAT IM ACTUALLY LIKE ON THE DAY
Calm, friendly, and very good at finding the best light in any venue.
I'm not the loud, directive type. I'm not going to make the day feel like a photoshoot. Most of what I do is move quietly through the room, pay attention, and be in the right place when something real happens.
When it comes to portraits, I'll give you just enough guidance to feel relaxed — usually starting with something as simple as walking together. It sounds almost too easy, but something genuinely shifts when you're doing something ordinary. The nerves drop. The conversation starts. That's when the good stuff happens.
I'll tell you honestly if the light's better somewhere else, flag things before they become problems, and keep things moving without it ever feeling rushed. And yes, I will get in the mud if I have to.
Want to know even more about me?
You can read my 'Behind the scene's' section of my blog to get more of a feel for me, with my favourite stories of my travels, interests and just general things I think are cool. Or if your convinced and know I'm someone you would like supporting you on your big day, then drop me a message!

Service Area
I am based in Buckinghamshire, so the majority of my shoots are in the local area, however I offer my services anywhere in the UK and even abroad!
Need a Wedding Photographer?
I offer free transport within 60 miles of Milton Keynes, this covers Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire and even parts of London! Outside of this area there will be a small additional cost. For the intimate photography package there is a slightly reduced service area (25 miles) before travel costs kick in!
Looking for family photos or a couple shoot?
I typically aim to keep these within Milton Keynes due to them only lasting an hour, however if you have a particular destination in mind I'll do my best to make it happen!
